914Cares relies on the generous donations of
the members of our community to support our programming.
Drop off information
All items can be dropped at our site (28 Kaysal Court, Suite 1, Armonk, NY 10504). If our office is not open, you can leave any donations in the laundry cart in the vestibule in front of our office.
Most needed items
- New or excellent condition clothing: newborn to adult XXXL
- We ask that clothing be in new or excellent condition with no rips, stains or missing/broken buttons/zippers.
- Please donate only seasonably appropriate clothing:
Fall/Winter: September 15 – April 1
Spring/Summer: April 1 – September 15 - Sneakers
- Boots – seasonably appropriate
- Coats / Jackets – seasonably appropriate
Please clearly label bags containing the following with "Recycling:"
- Adult clothing that is NOT teen appropriate (i.e. business or house of worship attire)
- Cleats, dress shoes, flip flops, high heels, men’s dress shoes
- Towels, Sheets, Blankets
- Sports gear – shin guards, baseball pants, dancewear
- Accessories – belts, scarves, purses
- Bar/Bat Mitzvah swag
- Clothing that contains the names/logos of local schools, camps, companies
- Diapers in all sizes, wipes, pull-ups (new in original box)
- Baby Gear (Click here for our wish-list)
- Board Books (new or gently used)
- We DO NOT accept used baby gear or equipment
- Children’s books appropriate for newborn – 8th grade
- Bi-Lingual books in all languages
- We DO NOT accept religious books, technical books, magazines, dictionaries, workbooks that have been written in.
- Menstrual products including tampons, pads, pantiliners and over night pads (Click here for our wish-list)
- Hygiene Products (Click here for our wish-list)
- Shampoo and conditioner (sulfate free)
- Gender neutral deodorant
- Body and hand soap
- Hand sanitizer
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
