Westchester County is often seen as one of the wealthiest in the nation—but for many families that is simply not the case. Too many are making impossible daily choices: rent or diapers, groceries or period supplies, a winter coat or the heating bill. Without access to these essentials, families face barriers to work, school, childcare, and good health—consequences that affect children’s development and caregivers’ ability to provide stability.
