Non-profit (914) Cares, formerly Chappaqua Cares, has moved to a new, larger location at 901 Broadway in north White Plains. (914) Cares facilitates efficient and impactful interactions between members of the community and local charities, helping to broaden awareness of neighbors in the community that struggle with unmet needs. The organization assists other Westchester-based non-profit agencies that focus on basic human needs, food, clothing, shelter, medical care and education, as well as fostering actionable generosity in local youth.
(914) Cares also recently adopted Kids’ Kloset. The new space will permit necessary space for more clothing donations and more volunteers. Kids’ Kloset, founded by Executive Director Stephanie Roth, is a volunteer-driven program that provides Westchester County children and families in need with donated clothing and related items free of charge.
