“Nearly 13% of Westchester county children under 18 live in poverty.”
Kids’ Kloset is a volunteer-driven program that provides under-served Westchester County children with donated clothing and related items. Since Kids’ Kloset opened in 2011, it has provided over 16,000 bags of clothing, footwear, diapers and other baby essentials to local children.
What We Do
Children, newborn to 18 years of age, receive “Bags of Love” with clothing prepared into properly sized and well-coordinated outfits free of rips, stains, and missing buttons.
The bags represent more than clothing: they boost the confidence and self-esteem of the recipient, with the goal of being happier, more confident children who are better prepared to face their daily challenges head-on.
Who We Serve
Kids’ Kloset provides clothing, footwear, diapers and related items free of charge to boys and girls from newborn to age 18 living in Westchester County.
We service the entire county from Yonkers and Mt. Vernon, up to Peekskill and Ossining through all county social service agencies, all shelters housing children, public schools, houses of worship, soup kitchens, private schools, fire victims and victims of domestic violence.
